Nano Banana Pro in Google Antigravity

The Antigravity Team
Nano Banana Pro in Google Antigravity

Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image) is rolling out now to Google Antigravity. This higher-fidelity model built on Gemini 3 Pro, is an advancement across multiple axes over the original Nano Banana, particularly in text rendering and collateral generation, while maintaining strengths in edit-to-edit consistency.

In Google Antigravity, the Agent has the ability to decide when to use an image generation model when it deems appropriate. This often manifests in developer workflows such as:

  • Generating a UI mockup for a new frontend, allowing the user to provide precise visual feedback to iterate on the design before asking the Agent to continue and generate the code. The improved text rendering and edit consistency with Nano Banana Pro makes this even more rich and robust.
  • Generating an easy to understand system or architecture diagram to explain existing code or knowledge. Nano Banana Pro’s text rendering and collateral generation shines for this use case.
  • Generating highly relevant image assets for use within websites or other visual applications, as opposed to scouring through stock photo assets for a meaningful fit.

Nano Banana Pro is rolling out incrementally to Google Antigravity users. Agents will still leverage the original Nano Banana for image generation steps if the user is yet to receive access to Nano Banana Pro.
